At Micronutrients (a trading name of Finch and Harbor LLC), we stand behind the quality of our products. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns and refunds.

1. Return Eligibility

30-Day Return Window: You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your first order for eligible products.

Eligible Returns: To qualify for a return, products must:

  • Be unused, unopened, and in original sealed packaging

  • Include all original labels, documentation, and packaging materials

  • Not be damaged due to customer handling or storage

  • Not be custom or special-order items

  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

Non-Returnable Items: The following are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Opened, used, or unsealed products

  • Products showing signs of tampering or improper storage

  • Custom-formulated or special-order products

  • Clearance or final sale items (clearly marked at time of purchase)

  • Digital products or downloadable content

  • Products damaged due to customer misuse or negligence

  • Products purchased from unauthorized third-party sellers

2. Return Process

Step 1 - Request Authorization:
Contact us at support@micronutrients.fit within 30 days of first delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • Product name(s) and quantity

  • Reason for return

  • Photos of the product in original packaging (if applicable)

Step 2 - Receive Return Authorization:
If approved, we'll provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return shipping instructions within 2-3 business days. Do not ship items without an RMA number - unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Step 3 - Ship Your Return:

  • Package items securely in original packaging

  • Include RMA number clearly visible on package exterior

  • Ship to the address provided in your RMA confirmation

  • Retain tracking information for your records

Return Shipping Costs:

  • Defective or Incorrect Items: We cover return shipping costs

  • Change of Mind/Customer Error: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method with insurance for high-value returns

3. Refund Process

Inspection Period: Once we receive your return, we will inspect it within 3-5 business days to verify it meets our return eligibility criteria.

Refund Approval: If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days after inspection.

Refund Amount: Your refund will include:

  • Product purchase price

  • Original shipping costs (only if return is due to our error)

Refund Deductions: The following may be deducted from your refund:

  • 15% restocking fee for returns due to customer error or change of mind

  • Return shipping costs (if not covered by us)

  • Costs for damaged or missing components

Payment Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase. Please allow additional time for your financial institution to process the credit (typically 3-7 business days).

4. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different product:

  1. Return the original item following our return process

  2. Place a new order for the desired product

This ensures faster processing and prevents delays due to product availability.

5. Damaged or Defective Products

Reporting Damage: If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@micronutrients.fit with:

  • Order number

  • Clear photos of the damaged product

  • Photos of shipping packaging (exterior and interior)

  • Description of the damage or defect

Our Response: We will:

  • Investigate the claim within 2-3 business days

  • Arrange for a replacement shipment at no cost to you, OR

  • Issue a full refund including original shipping costs

No Return Required: For damaged or defective items, we may waive the return requirement and issue a refund/replacement without requiring the product to be shipped back.

6. Incorrect Orders

Our Error: If we ship the wrong product or quantity, we will:

  • Provide a prepaid return label

  • Ship the correct item at no additional cost, OR

  • Issue a full refund including shipping costs

Your Responsibility: Contact us within 7 days of delivery to report order discrepancies. Claims made after 7 days may not be eligible for resolution.

7. Lost or Stolen Packages

Not Our Responsibility: Once a package is marked as "Delivered" by the carrier, we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Recommended Actions:

  • Track packages regularly

  • Require signature confirmation for high-value orders

  • Provide a secure delivery location

  • Consider purchasing shipping insurance at checkout

Exception: If tracking shows the package was never delivered or is lost in transit, contact us and we will assist with filing a carrier claim.

8. Subscription Refunds

Active Subscriptions: Subscription payments are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time, but no refunds will be issued for the current billing period.

Cancellation: Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will retain access to subscription benefits until that date.

Product Issues: If you receive a defective product as part of a subscription, we will replace it or issue a credit for that specific item.

9. Partial Refunds

In certain situations, partial refunds may be granted:

  • Products returned after the 30-day window (at our discretion)

  • Products with minor damage not reported within 48 hours

  • Returns missing original packaging or documentation

  • Products showing signs of use or tampering

Partial refund amounts are determined on a case-by-case basis.

10. Refused or Undeliverable Packages

Refusal at Delivery: If you refuse a package at delivery or it's returned as undeliverable due to:

  • Incorrect address provided by customer

  • Failure to claim package from carrier

  • Refusal without valid reason

You will be responsible for:

  • Original shipping costs (non-refundable)

  • Return shipping costs charged by carrier

  • 15% restocking fee

We will refund the remaining balance after deducting these fees.

11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Contact Us First: Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank, please contact us at support@micronutrients.fit. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.

Chargeback Consequences: Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may result in:

  • Immediate account suspension

  • Permanent ban from future purchases

  • Legal action to recover costs and fees

  • Reporting to fraud prevention databases

Fraudulent Disputes: False or fraudulent chargeback claims will be vigorously contested with full documentation provided to financial institutions and may result in legal action.

12. Late or Missing Refunds

Check Your Account First:

  • Review your bank/credit card account thoroughly

  • Allow 5-10 business days after approval for processing

  • Contact your financial institution (processing can take additional days)

Still Not Received?
Contact us at support@micronutrients.fit with:

  • Order number

  • Date of return

  • RMA number

  • Refund approval confirmation (if received)

We'll investigate and provide proof of refund processing if applicable.

13. International Returns

International Customers: International returns are subject to the same terms as domestic returns with additional considerations:

  • Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs

  • Customer is responsible for any customs duties or import taxes on returns

  • Returns must be shipped using a trackable international carrier

  • Processing times may be extended due to customs clearance

Currency: Refunds are issued in the original currency charged (USD).

14. Research Use Acknowledgment

By purchasing from Micronutrients, you acknowledge that all products are sold for research purposes only and are not intended for human consumption. Returns requested due to misuse or improper application of products will not be accepted.

15. Modifications to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund and Return Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
